Information collected:

When you use our website or services, we may collect personal information such as your name, email address, telephone number and payment details in order to process bookings and ensure a personalised experience.

Use of information and legal bases:

Personal information is used to process bookings, provide customer support and improve our services. We do not share this information with third parties unless it is necessary for the provision of the services requested. We process your data on the following bases, under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

Bookings and provision of the services (including payments and messages about your booking): performance of a contract or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
Invoicing and legal obligations (tax and accounting): compliance with legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)).
Customer support and replies to your enquiries: performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps and our legitimate interest in replying to you (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).
Website statistics and the Google Maps map: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time in Cookie settings.

We do not send marketing communications without your prior consent.

Parties that process data on our behalf:

To provide our services we use the following parties, who only process the data necessary for that purpose:

Bookings and shop: the booking system (Amelia) and the shop (WooCommerce) run on our own website; the data you provide is stored in the site’s database.
Payments: ifthenpay processes payments by Multibanco, credit or debit card and Payshop. We do not store your full card details.
Hosting and email: UKHost4u (Host4u Limited), which hosts the website and the email service from which we send you messages about your booking, with servers in London, United Kingdom.
Statistics (only with consent): Google Analytics, from Google Ireland Limited.
Map (only with consent): Google Maps, from Google Ireland Limited.

The data is hosted in the United Kingdom, under the European Commission’s adequacy decision.

Retention periods:

Booking, contact and customer support data: 24 months after your last booking or contact.
Invoicing data: 10 years, as required by tax law.
Cookies: see the Cookie Policy.

Once these periods end, the data is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights:

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and data portability, and you may withdraw your consent at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of processing already carried out). To exercise these rights, contact us at paintoutpaintball@gmail.com. We reply within a maximum of one month.

Complaints:

If you believe that the processing of your data breaches the law, you may lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), at www.cnpd.pt.
